HSA Columbus Elementary promotes six core values to guide its interactions with all members of the school community:

Literacy Mission Statement:

The mission of Horizon Science Academy Columbus Elementary is to educate students to be proficient in all areas of literacy through a rigorous, relevant, and aligned curriculum that creates a strong foundation for students to be lifelong learners.  


Literacy Vision Statement:

The vision of Horizon Science Academy Columbus Elementary is to create an environment to inspire students to achieve by developing relevant research-based programs that meet the needs of individual learners using a multilevel system of support approach that supports student achievement.  Students will have access to the materials, supplies, and resources needed to succeed including qualified teachers to support their learning and academic growth.
